ABOUT THE EVENT

2017 GRAMMY Winner ~ Best Children’s Album of the Year, Infinity Plus One!

GRAMMY-Winning hip hop artist, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo combines the excitement of hip hop with the magical world of childhood. With sophisticated instrumental funk and positive, witty wordplay, he has earned a loyal national following. His latest album, Wake Up The Dream is an Amazon Original Album described as a “funk-filled trip through your subconscious.” 2016’s space-themed Infinity Plus One took home music’s biggest prize at the 59th GRAMMY Awards for Best Children’s Album of the Year and in a heartfelt speech, 23 Skidoo dedicated the award to his daughter. Positive themes of empowerment, love, imaginations set loose, hope, ambitions, and dreams run through 23 Skidoo’s extensive catalog.

On stage, Skidoo’s live shows are alive with call-and-response anthems like his classic “Whatchya gotta be? / I gotta be ME!” and gravity defying moves from breakdancers that have the kids gasping in delight. Secret Agent 23 Skidoo creates unique and heartwarming party music that has garnered national awards, 10 #1 hits on SiriusXM Global Radio and praise from TIME, NPR, USA Today and many others.

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo teamed up with the Asheville Symphony and classical pianist, Orion Weiss to write and record “Mozartistic” for their 2017 Mozart Festival. Scores are available for live symphony collaborations.
