Leonardo possesses a unique spirit and is a virtuoso extraordinaire on the violin.... the spirit of the age inhabits him. - Wynton Marsalis
The harmonically sophisticated arrangements by Leonardo Suárez Paz are superb, as is his sardonic Milonga de los monsters – an unlikely yet happy marriage of Prokofiev and tango nuevo. - GRAMOPHONE, UK Andrew Farach-Colton
Leonardo is Tango Royalty -All About Jazz, UN /Erie Times
Fantastic! Leonardo & Olga Suarez Paz!
- FOX 5 Good Day NY
The art and music of Leonardo Suarez Paz: Because tango is a music for dancing. It is classical music. It is dance and poetry and song. It is about the free, creative expression of the soul. It's about life - or rather what it can be.
- All About Jazz
Leonardo Suarez Paz, "the finest tango violinist.... here he is to show off his dancing"... - Bill Bragin, Director of Public Programming at Lincoln Centeron FOX 5 Good Day NY
The production is an ingenious musical concept: classic tango music of the 1940's and 50's is fused with the harmonic and rhythmic construct of contemporary nuevo tango - and it's performed by a classically trained quartet. Throw in dance, poetry, and visuals - and the whole thing is a Force 5 sensorial explosion. - The Day, CT
Amazing dancers - who enliven the evening with fiery steps and the spirit of Buenos Aires. - Melissa Quintanilha, Cuartetango at the Wexner Center
Tango is not just a musical genre. It is a whole world made up of feelings, gazes, gestures and poetic complexity. Of shades of colors that the audience ... greatly appreciated. Leonardo & Olga Suarez-Paz received the "warmest of applause" for the "beautiful tangos" - GoFasano, Italy
